SlideShare, owned by LinkedIn since 2012, is a place to upload and share your case studies, infographics, PowerPoint presentations and even videos. SlideShare is a great complement to your company website for the following reasons:

  1. SlideShare’s content is searchable, which translates into additional search engine optimization (SEO) for your marketing collateral. During the upload process, SlideShare allows you to add meta-data (such as keywords) to your post. It even shows you a “discoverability” slider that lets you know how searchable your content will be.
  2. It’s easy to cross-post to LinkedIn (and other social media channels), making your material visible across multiple sites.
