Have you noticed the importance of images in social media? The ability to upload and share images has been incorporated into every well-known social media site including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. Further, sites like Pinterest and Instagram were created on an image-based platform where primary engagement is through commenting and sharing photos. Statistics show that Facebook users upload up to 250 million photographs every day. Studies also show that a post that includes an album or pictures receives 120-180% more engagement from fans than a text-based post. With that being said, incorporating storytelling through imagery can be a low-cost marketing strategy used to generate interest while benefiting your business and building your brand.
