Held on May 14 in downtown Indianapolis, the Summit brought together Great Lakes Cement Promotion Council (GLCPC) members and industry partners for a dynamic and informative event. The gathering began with a welcome reception the evening prior, sponsored by AOE, creating an opportunity for networking and setting the tone for a full day of collaboration and knowledge sharing.

The agenda featured a series of timely and impactful discussions, beginning with organizational updates from attendees, where representatives shared key accomplishments and ongoing challenges across the industry. Sessions then explored several critical topics, including utilizing ACI Code 323 for low-carbon concrete, addressing challenges and solutions for mixtures with blended cements, the business case for responsible sourcing and the evolution of U.S. cement standards.

Special thanks to featured speakers Luke McHugh (NRMCA), Sureka Sumanasooriya (ACI), Jamie Farny (ACA) and Paul Seiler (Master Builders Solutions) for their expertise and contributions. The 2026 GLCPC Spring Summit served as a valuable platform for collaboration and education, and we look forward to continuing this momentum at next year’s event.

“The 2025 Concrete Industry Management (CIM) Auction at World of Concrete shattered all previous records! Our partners at AOE were essential in helping the National Steering Committee promote the Auction. For more than 17 years, we’ve counted on AOE to help support our public relations, social media and marketing efforts to promote the Auction and the CIM program. The AOE team was, and continues to be, an important part of our success.
