AOE’s Bryce Barker, Kimberly Kayler, Trenton Baty, and Kendra Trader recently traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to attend the Concrete Foundations Association’s annual convention CFACON26. Recognized as the largest annual gathering of the cast-in-place concrete industry, the event brought together contractors, designers, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry leaders from across North America for three days of education, networking, exhibits, and professional development.
Throughout the convention, the team connected with fellow concrete professionals, explored emerging technologies and industry trends, and participated in sessions covering topics such as leadership development, cold-weather concreting, blended cements, integrated technology solutions, 3D-printed housing, and the economic outlook for the industry.
In addition to the technical sessions, attendees took part in several networking events designed to foster collaboration and relationship-building across the industry. Highlights included an evening social at the iconic Harley-Davidson Museum, where attendees connected with peers in a unique Milwaukee setting, as well as the convention’s closing event at Lakefront Brewery. As the sponsor of the convention’s Awards Gala, AOE was proud to support an event that highlights innovation, leadership, and achievement across the industry.
The convention provided valuable insights and strengthened relationships that will help AOE continue advancing organizational excellence while supporting clients and partners throughout the construction and concrete industries.
