AOE recently worked with Roads & Bridges magazine and the result was three spotlight interviews at World of Concrete 2026. Nick Davis, director of technical services at International Grooving & Grinding Association (IGGA), a longtime AOE client, shared the importance of concrete preservation for sustainability and discussed lifecycle cost analysis and innovative materials like calcium sulfoaluminate (CSA) cements.
Eric Ferrebee, senior director of technical services at the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA), also an AOE client, highlighted strategies to extend pavement life through design choices, joint spacing and overlays, sharing a remarkable nine-mile Iowa project completed in just 25 days with minimal traffic disruption. Reach out to us today to learn more about landing such interview spotlights!
Laura O’Neill Kaumo, president and CEO of ACPA, rounded out the series by addressing critical challenges facing the industry. She discussed the expiration of the federal infrastructure bill, the impact of electric vehicles on traditional gas-tax revenue and the need for bipartisan investment in infrastructure. We are proud to work with these industry leaders who are tackling pivotal topics shaping the future of concrete. You can view their interviews here.
