AOE joins the Masonry Institute of Michigan in celebrating 2021 accomplishments

AOE was thrilled to join the Masonry Institute of Michigan (MIM) in celebrating its 2021 accomplishments at their annual meeting, held on January 13 in Grand Rapids and Detroit, Michigan. Phil Ledent, executive director at the MIM, shared the organization’s strategic business plan for 2022 and how its successful partnership with AOE has helped the MIM spotlight its members and promote Masonry First. In addition, Kimberly Kayler, president of AOE, provided valuable insights into top business, marketing and social media trends for 2022.

The MIM’s mission is to deliver relevant and accurate information to its A/E/C partners. Through the promotion of masonry, the MIM provides its members the necessary tools and resources to be successful, whether it be in design, engineering or construction. Since the start of our partnership in October 2021, AOE has worked with the MIM to increase visibility for the organization and its members.

“Partnering with AOE has allowed us to broaden our reach, not only in Michigan but nationally,” said Ledent. “In just three months, we’ve increased our followers by more than 25 percent, creating many more opportunities for masonry on projects. Our partnership has allowed us to spotlight our members and has drawn traffic to the MIM which continues to highlight the value and beauty that is masonry construction.”

We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the MIM to promote the durability, beauty and flexibility of masonry, and to showcase its members and projects in 2022 and beyond.
